I am caring, empathetic, and nurturing. I chose this profession specifically because I want to help people on a meaningful and personal level. I am easy-going, do not judge people, nor am I offended very easily. I believe it is because of this that people feel comfortable enough around me to open up about themselves.
I have experience in sexual minority communities and am an advocate for sexual freedoms and human rights. I’m not afraid to stand up for what I believe is right, even if it doesn’t conform with popular belief. At the same time, I have a good sense of humor. I don’t think we need to take ourselves so seriously that we forget to HAVE FUN. I hope this inspires people.
With my background in the field of sexology, I am comfortable working with people who have issues or concerns about sexuality and with people who want to increase their level of intimacy and sexual satisfaction. I am very familiar with the diversity of lifestyles and relationships found today. I provide a safe space to discuss delicate topics and my goal is to make each of my clients feel comfortable and understood.
I am currently under the supervision of Douglas Braun-Harvey for AASECT certification as a sex therapist, and have been trained by the County of San Diego for certification in Sexual Health train-the-trainer skills.
